🚨 About ImpactMCI

ImpactMCI is a next-generation mass casualty incident (MCI) simulation platform built to revolutionize the way first responders train for real-world emergencies. By combining realistic scenarios, live patient vitals, and integrated communication tools, ImpactMCI creates an immersive, high-fidelity training environment where every decision matters.

Unlike static drills or paper-based scenarios, ImpactMCI brings MCI response to life with:

  • Scenario-driven training modules that adapt to real-time student decisions
  • Live patient vital signs and deterioration curves for realistic urgency
  • Performance tracking and scoring to support objective after-action review
  • Integrated radio simulation to build critical communication skills
  • Customizable configurations for agencies of any size, from classroom to field deployment

Whether preparing for active shooter events, natural disasters, or large-scale accidents, ImpactMCI gives training officers the power to build, control, and run dynamic incidents that feel real — without leaving the training ground.

👨‍🚒 Why I'm Building ImpactMCI

ImpactMCI was born from my 25+ years on the front lines of emergency medical services. As a paramedic, field training officer, and EMS leader, I've seen firsthand how chaotic and unpredictable mass casualty incidents can be. I've also seen how traditional training methods fall short — not because of lack of dedication, but because our tools haven't kept up with the realities we face in the field.

I'm building ImpactMCI to change that.

My goal is simple: to give instructors the ability to run smarter, more dynamic training, and to give students the experience and confidence they'll need when seconds truly count. Every feature in this platform is shaped by real-world calls, field experience, and a commitment to improving how we prepare our teams to save lives.

🩺 My Background

My name is Michael McBride. I've spent over two decades in EMS — working as a paramedic, trainer, and supervisor — responding to emergencies of every kind. I've trained countless new EMTs and paramedics, and I've watched them grow into confident, capable lifesavers. I know what works, what doesn't, and where simulation can make the difference between hesitation and decisive action in the field.

I'm also a lifelong educator and innovator. As my career has evolved, so has my mission: to give first responders the best possible tools to train, learn, and lead.

💡 Our Mission

To build training that saves lives.

ImpactMCI is more than a software platform — it's a tool forged by field experience, built for those who run toward the chaos when others run away. Through innovation, realism, and accessibility, we aim to raise the standard of EMS education and ensure that when the next incident strikes, our responders are ready.
